Outpatient Services
Syracuse Area Health provides a wide range of outpatient services. Patients who are under the care of a physician either through SAH or through another hospital or city can receive outpatient services here.
Outpatient services offered:
- Medication infusions
- Blood product transfusions
- Injections
- Dressing changes and wound care
- Central intravenous line care
- Central intravenous line blood draws
- Placement of specialized cardiac testing devices
Receiving outpatient services locally allows patient who are under the care of a physician or physician specialist to stay close to their home, but still get the care they need. SAH nurses and healthcare professionals communicate with each patient’s provider to assure that continuity of care is maintained.
